After meeting up with Tanya yesterday afternoon, I hiked through part of Central London: Kensington High Street - through Hyde Park - Piccadilly - Green Park - Piccadilly Circus - Leicester Square - Soho/Chinatown. The streets were filled with people in their last-minute shopping frenzy. The park, however, offered much-needed serenity.
The weather was really warm and mild, for late December - otherwise walking for 2 hours wouldn't have been fun at all. Friends in New York said they had the coldest day, which secretly makes me happy. :)
